In a welterweight bout on Saturday in Atlantic City, New Jersey, rising star Jaron "Boots" Ennis defeated Roiman Villa via knockout in the tenth round to maintain his perfect record. Ennis (31-0, 18 KOs) impressed with his lightning-fast hands and quick-twitch movement before putting Villa on the ground with two powerful right hands and a left hook. Nearly midway through Round 10 to put an end to the lopsided hammering, referee David Fields quickly called off the PBC on Showtime main event without a count.
